Carlos Gimenez Wants Info From Customs and Border Patrol After 17 Chinese Nationals Apprehended in Key Largo

Share this story:

U.S. Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., weighed this week after 17 nationals from Communist China were apprehended in Key Largo, inside the congressman’s district.

Gimenez has requested more information from Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) to assess who these individuals are and any threats they may pose.

“Rep. Gimenez’s priority is to protect our border and national security, especially for our Florida Keys residents,” the congressman’s office noted.

“Florida Highway Patrol and U.S. Border Agents detained 17 Chinese nationals after illegally making landfall in Key Largo – my district,” said Gimenez. “I’m proud to serve on the Armed Services Committee, Homeland Security Committee, and the new Select Committee on China and have requested additional information from all federal agencies involved. In Congress, I have fought the Biden administration’s shortsighted border policies that have endangered our country and impacted our South Florida community.”

Within the IEA’s own data so recently presented by Fatih Birol lies information proving, beyond any reasonable doubt, Energy-Transitions are a delusion within timescales promised by energy-inept politicians and, valuable [limited] capital investment is being poured down the drain.

So says the world’s leading energy pundit & The Last Optimist Mark P Mills and, the problems will manifest themselves within 2 to 3 years as the Copper Crunch starts to cripple investment in wind/solar/batteries:
Search YouTube for: “energy transition delusion”

Nations will have to switch to pollution-free energy technologies based on machines which – as ever before [before wind/solar/batteries, that is] – are made from iron/steel/concrete/aluminium, that can extract energy from energy-dense sources.

It narrows the field down a bit, to – 1 – nuclear power; in particular, small modular reactors (SMRs). Add in nuclear enabled hydrogen (NEH) and every sector of energy use can be decarbonised:
Search for: “how nuclear enabled hydrogen (neh) will save the planet”

It works a treat for the UK. The investment required vis-a-vis the cost of pollution from the burning of fossil fuels, turns out to be 2X better than a zero-sum-game:
Search for: “the cost of powering the uk with smrs and neh”
