Swalwell is part of a large crowd of Democrats looking at running for president in 2020.
Florida Democrats are hoping to raise $150,000 in a single day to help fund the lawyers they will need to have lawyers in the room for each of Florida’s 67 counties during that recount.
DeSantis is also turning to some members of his own team to lead the transition effort.
As of Wednesday morning, Scott was up with more than 34,500 votes out of 8.1 million total votes. That means Scott’s margin of victory is less than one half of one percent--meaning a recount is in the works. 
With Ros-Lehtinen retiring, former U.S. HHS Sec. Donna Shalala flipped the seat as Democrats took control of the House, beating Republican Maria Elvira Salazar.
One of the big shockers in this election comes from the heart of Florida tourism.
In one of the tightest races of the night, Caldwell had 3,995,344 votes giving him 50.1 percent. Fried had 3,974,121 votes, giving her 49.9 percent. That is close enough that, if it stands, there will be a recount.
