Espino was appointed to replace Christi Fraga, who is currently running in the Doral mayoral runoff, which will be held next month.
Espino, an attorney, is a partner at Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes Law. He is the chairman of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Espino earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and his JD from Nova Southeastern University.
