Neal Dunn Gets ‘Veterans Prostate Cancer Treatment and Research Act’ Through the House

“Prostate cancer is the number one cancer diagnosed in the Veterans Health Administration, with over 489,000 veterans undergoing treatment. This bill will direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a national clinical pathway for prostate cancer, a standardized system of care for the treatment of what is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the veterans’ health system."

Vern Buchanan Backs Bill to Cover More Illnesses Connected to Agent Orange

At the end of April 2019, U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman, R-Ark., introduced the “Keeping Our Promises Act" which “would aid veterans suffering from long-term illness as a result of Agent Orange exposure" and add to the VA’s list of covered illnesses nine medical conditions, which are already recognized by the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) as having evidence of being linked to exposure to Agent Orange.”
