Fans are clamoring for change after Alabama was crowned as the national champion for the sixth time in the last 11 years. We did not get the Clemson against Alabama matchup that so many people say they are tired of seeing--but the same players were in the playoffs.
As the nation groans over another year where Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State are clearly the best teams in the nation, the clamor is growing louder for changes to the playoffs, including expanding to bring in more teams.
In case there are any other coaches reading this, you never, ever, ever call a timeout when a team has its back against the wall needing a field goal longer than 49 yards to tie or win a game.
Shortly before kickoff, the game between Florida State and Virginia was called off and no make-up date has been announced. Again, a positive COVID-19 test led to no action on the field--but this time Florida State is ravaged. After contract tracing, the team would have only had 44 scholarship players available for the game.

He had a brilliant opening game as the new starter against Illinois and Wisconsin looked very dangerous with him at the helm.
