The poll has Trump ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden 49 percent to 45 percent. Trump leads former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg 49 percent to 44 percent.

More than two-thirds of those surveyed--68 percent--approve of DeSantis who just started his second year in Tallahassee. Only 18 percent of those surveyed disapprove of him while 14 percent are not sure.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state government are looking to ensure Florida’s workforce will be well-positioned in the years to come.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform (ILR) released a study placing Florida 46th out of 50 states when it comes to lawsuit climate and placing Miami as one of the ten worst jurisdictions in the nation. ILR showcases its annual “Lawsuit Climate Survey: Ranking the States” which was conducted by the Harris Poll.

On Wednesday, the Florida Chamber of Commerce activated its Hurricane Center which it defined as “a one-stop storm preparation center for families, businesses and visitors.”

A prominent leader of the business community in Florida warned this week that expanded energy exploration off the coast of the Sunshine State could impact military bases across the state.

“I was honored to take part in this historic meeting today at the United States Embassy in Jerusalem,” said DeSantis. “Today was a significant milestone in the long relationship between Florida and Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East.
