Debbie Wasserman Schultz Leads Congressional Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations to Condemn Antisemitic Attacks
U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., Brenda Lawrence, D-Mich., and Lee Zeldin, R-NY, weighed in to express their “support for the Jewish community and condemn the alarming rise of violent antisemitic hate in the United States” on Monday.
“They are murderers, to the point that they kill children who are five or six years old. They are murderers, to the point they drag women on the ground to their death and they are murderers, to the point they kill old people,” Erdogan said. “ They only are satisfied by sucking their blood.”
U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., who leads the U.S. House Ethics Committee and the U.S. House Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, is working with U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-NY, and U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-NY, on the resolution.
At a U.S. House Judiciary Committee hearing, Gaetz dug into Sharpton’s past comments and even showcased a resolution from former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough. Both Sharpton and Scarborough currently host shows on MSNBC.
