On Tuesday, CareerSource Florida and the Florida Department of Education announced a new apprenticeship program in information technology at Tallahassee-based Inspired Technologies.
Wexford Strategies brought on Chris Quinn as the vice president of international affairs, noting he would “be responsible for business development and advocacy strategies for international based clients who need assistance in the United States as well as assisting American companies who wish to engage abroad” in his new post.
DeSantis announced the funds will be used on Apprenticeship Expansion Grants which “may be used to develop or expand Registered Apprenticeship or pre-apprenticeship programs and cover costs such as on-the-job-training, related instruction, curriculum development and outreach to underrepresented populations."
Wexford Strategies insists this is just the start of their European operations. Chris Quinn took over as vice president of international affairs at Wexford Strategies earlier this month and he weighed in on the new office.
Quinn comes from the JAX Chamber where he was the vice president of industry and government affairs, which included lobbying and working on policy at the federal, state, local and international levels.
