Florida Representatives Urge Trump to Ensure National Guard Receives Benefits Earned Fighting COVID-19
At the end of last week, 130 members of Congress sent a letter to President Donald Trump, U.S. Defense Sec. Mark Esper and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Peter Gaynor calling on the administration to ensure National Guard personnel who are serving on the front lines of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) response efforts across the nation receive the federal benefits they have earned.
