The proposal would expand school choice options “by permitting states that have established programs for parents of children with disabilities to use public or private funds for the cost of their children attending a private school to supplement those funds with federal special education funds" and creates more grants for the states to increase school choice.

Thousands of children are exposed to learning environments that exude hostility. Many institutions are identified as poor performance and this has become the expected norm. No wonder so many parents feel helpless. What can they do? Where can they go? Do you think school choice might, just might be a solution?

With the Legislature kicking off its regular session on Tuesday, DeSantis returned to the themes that he stressed in the campaign including the “economic opportunities that lie before us,”  the “environmental challenges that require our attention” and “our obligations to education and public safety.”
