The representatives want “aviation excise taxes be suspended until the end of 2021 or until airline passenger traffic returns to 75 percent of its 2019 levels, citing current airlines passenger levels of only 25 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels.”
The transition out of the military can be incredibly hard since most service members firmly adhere to the military way of life. Careers are different in the private sector, and many vets are still trying to re-establish an active role in their families that is different than their previous one as a service member. Finding a company that embraces military veterans and their families significantly increases their chances of success. It allows them to partake in rewarding careers while spending more time with their family and friends.
Dr. Brent Bowen, a professor of aeronautical science at Embry Riddle, says we should forget opinions and skewed analysis. His study simply asks a few questions: how often do passengers land on time; how often does luggage arrive with the passengers; how often are passengers bumped off flights; and how well does the airline provide customer service.
