Americans for Prosperity Action Lists Its First Round of Endorsements for Florida’s 2024 Elections

Americans for Prosperity Action Florida (AFPA-FL) just released its first round of candidate endorsements for this year’s elections.

This list is only of state Senate races. AFPA-FL Senior Advisor, Skylar Zander, said, “AFP Action is confident that these proven leaders will continue to serve the interests of their constituents in the Senate while advancing legislation that unleashes freedom and prosperity. Local leadership has made our state a strong example across the nation despite reckless policies from Washington. We look forward to delivering results for residents throughout the state and our grassroots activists are ready to connect with voters.”

Endorsed Candidates

State Sen. Corey Simon (SD-03)

As Senate Education Committee Chairman, Senator Simon prioritized educational freedom and opportunity for all Floridians. He prioritized passing the largest universal Education Savings Account bill in the country, while also working to remove barriers for traditional public schools. Senator Simon has been fighting tirelessly to help Senate District 3 recover from hurricane Idalia. We are confident he will continue this great work if re-elected.

State Rep. Thomas Leek (SD-07)

Rep. Leek is a proven conservative who has stood strong with the Governor in his fight to protect Florida from the Biden border crisis. He’s worked to try and relieve homeowners from out-of-control insurance costs. Rep. Leek is a problem solver, and we can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together when he is in the Florida Senate.

State Rep. Stan McClain (SD-09)

Rep. McClain has worked hard on ensuring Floridians have strong private prosperity rights while working to solve housing affordability issues. He has fought back against those who have tried to overregulate businesses while also working to get rid of erroneous occupational licensing barriers that keep people from getting to work.

State Sen. Bryan Avila (SD-39)

Sen. Avila has been a champion for fiscal responsibility in the Florida legislature. He’s ensured Florida isn’t committing to long term debt and instead focusing on the core functions of Government. Senator Avila has been a champion for Florida’s families by prioritizing educational freedom and less regulations in his time in the Senate. We look forward to continuing to work with Senator Avila for years to come.

AFPA-FL will educate and mobilize voters in support of these candidates through its vast grassroots base as well as digital and mail campaigns.
