Republicans from the Sunshine State showcased their continued support for Israel this week.
The top Republicans in the U.S. House–including U.S. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., U.S. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., and U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wy., who leads the House Republican Conference–sent a letter to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. More than 110 House Republicans signed the letter.
“We write to reaffirm the unshakeable alliance between the United States and Israel, to emphasize that Israel has the right to make sovereign decisions independent of outside pressure, and to express our support for you as you make such decisions in your capacity as Israel’s democratically-elected prime minister,” the Republicans wrote.
“As dedicated friends of the Jewish state, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to the relationship between our two nations and Israel’s right to sovereignty and defensible borders,” they added.
Several Republicans from Florida including U.S. Reps. Neal Dunn, Brian Mast, John Rutherford, Ross Spano, Michael Waltz and Ted Yoho signed the letter.
“While Democrats in Congress threaten to betray our alliance with Israel, Republicans are committed to standing up for our shared democratic principles,” Steube said on Tuesday. “We stand with Israel now and always and will continue to recognize and support their sovereignty in making decisions.”

Surprise Trump repubs back and increasingly fascist government complete with Ghettos and doing just what the Nazi’s did to them only shows how morally bankrupt both are.
Are any of them Jews? And why are not US, Florida Jews among them?
Fact is many US, other Jews do NOT support the present fascist government there. I use to support them but haven’t for a while now as just stealing more land and refusing to have meaningful peace talks.
While I can see somewhat on the Gaza Strip though their treatment is a big problem why they still have troubles, on the West bank it’s just fascist with an undeserved open air prison Ghetto.
The smart plan would open up the West Bank to show Gazans how getting rid of the belligerents would bring them freedom. But Israel can’t have that obviously by their actions .
