Hi, what are you looking for?

Underrated Florida Beach 5

Not as nationally known as Vero to its North or Palm Beach to its south, Jensen Beach once was known as the “Pineapple Capital of the World” and still has an annual Pineapple festival. Scuba diving and sailing are popular just off the shore, but for land sharks who prefer to stay dry, Jensen Beach touts a wide variety unique shops and fine dining options.

From VisitFlorida.com: “

Jensen Beach is reminiscent of Key West with its pastel cottages surrounded by white-picket fences and stellar seafood, and visitors will notice pineapple art displayed throughout the downtown area, which pays tribute to the town’s history as the former “Pineapple Capital of the World.”

On Thursday nights, downtown Jensen Beach comes alive with Jammin’ Jensen, a festival-like event that brings together live music, local artists, and street vendors.”
