On Thursday, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, on which Gaetz sits, approved the Panhandle Republican’s “Medical Cannabis Research Act” on a voice vote. Gaetz introduced the bill in April and seven members of the Florida delegation are cosponsoring the proposal.
