Frankel and Brooks rounded up 75 members of the U.S. House to send a letter to U.S. Sec. of State Mike Pompeo calling on him “to ensure that women are included in Afghan peace negotiations and that any agreement protects Afghan women’s rights.”
“The tragedy in Venezuela has far-reaching implications for both Columbia and Curacao, and regional stability," Ted Yoho said.
“The House and Senate are currently in recess,” Yoho said. “Considering the momentous events along our southwest border, I am asking President Trump to call members of Congress back to Washington, D.C. to address immigration and border security."
At the end of last week, Rubio teamed up with U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, D-NJ, to call on the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to “open a review into the Trump Administration’s negotiations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as any negotiation by the executive branch since December 2009, regarding a civil nuclear cooperation agreement.”
