In his first term in Congress, Crist supported efforts to make July 12th as the National Day of Civility. While that push did not get over the finish line, Crist is now supporting U.S. Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver’s, D-Mo., and Mike Johnson’s, R-La., effort. Cleaver and Johnson lead the Honor and Civility Caucus.
U.S. Rep. Ken Buck, R-Col., led the letter which included Yoho who leads Republicans on the U.S. House Asia and the Pacific Subcommittee.
The Florida congresswoman introduced a proposal to “require the use of face masks in all public spaces and outside when one cannot maintain a physical distance of six feet or more from anyone who is not a member of the same household.”
