After the U.S. House passed the bill without objection two weeks ago, the U.S. Senate passed the bill with no opposition last week.
U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Fla., was able to get his proposal expanding the number of veterans who can receive the COVID-19 vaccine from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs through the U.S. House this week.
Last week, the Florida congresswoman brought out a proposal calling on the states “to send an absentee ballot with a pre-paid, self-addressed return envelope to every registered voter for this year’s upcoming federal elections.”
This week, U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla., teamed up with U.S. Rep. Mike Levin, D-Calif., the chairman of the U.S. House Veterans Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity, on a bill to “expand and strengthen Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) services for homeless veterans during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
